SUNX has adopted a quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety management system.
We aim to become an even more global corporation and to continue to provide higher-quality products and more helpful services to our customers.
Occupational Health and Safety Management System OHSAS 18001 obtained
SUNX has been thoroughly implementing a risk assessment by analyzing and assessing specified dangerous places, such as where equipment is placed in business establishment, in order to prevent occupational accidents. As a result, we obtained the Occupational Health and Safety Management System "OHSAS 18001" certificate of conformance in Jul. 2002 for preventing occupational accidents. Through this experience and via our safety device products, we also provide support to establish our customers’ safety systems.
Quality control index ISO 9001 obtained
In order to deliver the best-quality products all the time, SUNX implements the following four steps: "Quality control of designing", "Quality control of manufacturing processes", "Quality control of products" and "Feedback on quality information in the market". These steps have established our current production system.
Consequently, the international standard ISO 9001, that assesses the quality control system, was obtained by the SUNX Head Office (Nov. 1997), Kyushu SUNX (Mar. 2003), and Suzhou SUNX (Apr. 2004).
We will continue to enhance our quality control system in order to improve quality and deliver even more reliable products.
Environmental protection index ISO 14001 obtained
SUNX has been promoting company-wide environmental improvements through one of our business attitudes, "global environmental protection". As a result, the SUNX Head Office obtained ISO 14001 certification, an international standard of environmental management system, in Sep. 1999. "Zero emission" of waste was achieved in Sep. 2002, and "lead-free solder" in our sensor products, excluding some parts such as cables, was achieved in Oct. 2004.
Based on our "environmental policy", SUNX will promote continuous improvements in our environmental conservation system centered on the slogan of "environmentally-friendly corporate activities and product development".
