Notice of change for conforming to the revised CE Mark related directive

Below products are conforming to EMC directive and CE Mark affixing product. However, related European standard has amended which has brought EMC requirement level more strict. And we must add usage conditions of wiring (add instruction manual) in order to make below products conform to the requirement, and also CE mark affixing of some products are deleted.

Please note that there is no change in product performance, so there is no problem to use as before in the case that the whole machinery is conforming to CE Marking.

Amended standards

Below standard has been amended.

Present: EN60947-5-2: 1998
Amended: EN60947-5-2 A2: 2004

Subjected models

■Add instruction manual (notice in wiring)
- RX-LS200 series: Adjustable Range Reflective Photoelectric Sensor
- GXL-□ (DC 2-wire type): Micro-size Inductive Proximity Sensor
- NA2-N series: General Purpose & Slim Body Area Sensor
- SU-7 series and SH-3□: Slim Body Automatic Sensitivity Setting Photoelectric Sensor

■Deletion of CE Mark
- EX-M2(E): Miniature-size Photoelectric Sensor
- GX-U series (DC 2-wire type): Cylindrical Inductive Proximity Sensor
- GX-FU series (DC 2-wire type): Cylindrical Inductive Proximity Sensor

Usage conditions to make product comply to CE Marking

Below construction is required.

■Adjustable Range Reflective Photoelectric Sensor RX-LS200 series		■Micro-size Inductive Proximity Sensor GXL-□ (DC 2-wire type)
Ensure that the shield is connected to 0V or the actual ground.		Ensure that the shield is connected to 0V or the actual ground.
■General Purpose & Slim Body Area Sensor NA2-N series		■Slim Body Automatic Sensitivity Setting Photoelectric Sensor SU-7 series and SH-3□
Place ferrite core at the sensor cable.		Place ferrite core at the sensor cable.
